Knut, Germany's most famous polar bear in the world, has died.
The four year old has died after suffering a brief spasm of the enclosure at the zoo in Berlin on Saturday.
Knut won fans around the world since it was rejected by his mother as a newborn, and the bear went on to create along with Leonardo DiCaprio in Vanity Fair green issue cover shoot.
